  1. Pour 0.75 cup of warm water into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add 1 tsp of active dry yeast and 0.5 tsp of sugar to the bowl and stir gently with a spoon.
  3. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes until small bubbles form on the surface.
  4. Add 2.5 cup of all-purpose flour and 1 tsp of salt to the bowl.
  5. Knead the ingredients with your hands inside the bowl for 5 minutes until a smooth dough forms.
  6. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
  7. Peel 1 pcs onion and 2 clove of garlic.
  8. Place the onion, garlic, 2 pcs roma tomato, 1 pcs red bell pepper, and 0.5 bunch of fresh flat-leaf parsley into a food processor.
  9. Pulse the food processor until all the vegetables are very finely chopped into a paste.
  10. Transfer the chopped vegetables to a large mixing bowl.
  11. Add 300 g of ground beef 9%, 2 tbsp of tomato paste, 2 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tsp of paprika, and 1 tsp of ground cumin to the vegetables.
  12. Mix everything thoroughly with your hands until the meat and vegetables are fully combined.
  13. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Celsius.
  14. Divide the rested dough into 4 equal pieces using a knife.
  15. Roll out one piece of dough on a floured countertop with a rolling pin until it is very thin and round.
  16. Spread a thin layer of the meat topping evenly across the rolled-out dough, leaving a small bare edge.
  17. Transfer the prepared dough carefully onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  18. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes until the edges of the flatbread are crispy and the ground beef is completely cooked through with no pink remaining.
  19. Repeat the rolling and topping process for the remaining dough pieces and bake them one by one.
  20. Cut 1 pcs lemon into wedges.
  21. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the hot lahmacun before serving.
